Why replace mold parts

Mold insert repair involves using wire cutting, milling machines, grinders, or other mechanical processing methods to remove the damaged parts of injection mold components, then reprocessing new inserts for these parts. This repair method is widely adopted in the plastic mold industry as it is less costly than replacing injection mold components, making it more economical. Moreover, the repaired plastic mold can still ensure a relatively long service life. However, it should be noted that the size of the inserts should not be too small, as this would reduce the strength of the components and impact the service life of the plastic mold.

Please send me the 2D and 3D drawings of the part, the material, and the processing requirements by email, and we will provide you with a price and delivery date. After the order is confirmed, we will provide a DFM report. Once the part is produced, we will provide a CMM inspection report. Once you confirm, we can send it to your company via international express.
